Google Messenger: a no-nonsense SMS app
Google has put together a new SMS app called Google Messenger, which had only been seen in Android 5.0 Lollipop until today. Google Messenger has been made available for everyone, straight from the Google Play Store.
This will be the default messaging app in Lollipop, a privilege only a top-notch app should enjoy… and that it is. The new messaging app is simple, yet feature-full. It adopts the new Material Design, and has the ability to block senders natively. It also supports images, videos and audio, as well as having advanced searching capabilities.
Opinion: I have been using Google Messenger briefly and must say I like it. The design is very appealing, and the interface is sleek. So far I have found no issues. Try it out and let us know how you like it!
