YouTube ‘Music Key’ offers unlimited music, ad-less videos and more

Google Play Music All Access is a great subscription service for streaming music, but Google is launching yet another subscription service for audiophiles. It’s called Music Key and it offers ad-less, background and offline music to please your ears.

It will launch in Beta starting next week, when invites will start rolling out. Yes, you will need an incite to access this service, at least for now. It will be available for $7.99 at first, but the usual price is set at $9.99.

In a nutshell, the service offers ads-free music videos, background playback and saving content for offline viewing. In addition, subscribers will get full access to the entire Google Play Music library, which further sweetens the deal (and almost deems All Access unnecessary).

Opinion: I have signed up to try and get into the beta service at YouTube’s official Music Key website. You should do the same, this looks promising. YouTube is probably your main source of music and videos, after all.
